Stade Rennais Mercato: A few days after attracting Steve Mandanda, the SRFC would still be on the verge of inflicting another big blow on OM.
Stade Rennais Mercato: The SRFC still on the track of OM
Stade Rennais struck a major blow on the transfer market by managing to convince the immense Steve Mandanda to leave Olympique de Marseille to evolve under the orders of Bruno Genesio for the next two seasons. At 37, the French goalkeeper joined the SRFC for free until June 2024. After this fantastic reinforcement, the Breton club is still interfering in the affairs of OM.
Indeed, according to information from a Korean media, Stade Rennais would also be interested in Kim Min Jae and would be willing to invest more than 18 million euros to attract the central defender from Fenerbahçe. Stade Rennais has therefore not finished bothering Pablo Longoria and his family on this summer transfer window.
Stade Rennais Mercato: Min Jae finally towards a transfer to Rennes?
While he recruited for free Steve Mandanda last week, Stade Rennais continued to hunt on the lands of Olympique de Marseille during this summer transfer window. By deciding to offer more than 18 million euros to Fenerbahçe for Kim Min Jaethe SRFC took away all hope from Olympique de Marseille since the club of Frank McCourt does not have sufficient means to outbid such an offer. Under contract with Fener until June 2025, the 25-year-old Korean international should therefore join Brittany in the event of a transfer this summer.
And after Min Jae, the club trained by Bruno Genesio would also like to secure the services of the Brazilian Morato, linked to Benfica Lisbon. According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, a first offer of 10 million euros (+ 3 million euros bonus and 20% on resale) was made, but refused by the Lisbon club. The Portuguese expect no less than 15 million euros to let go of their 21-year-old defender.
