Donnarumma wants to stay and win the Champions League

While PSG won the 10th French championship title in its history after its draw against Lens (1-1) on Saturday evening at the Parc des Princes on the occasion of the 34th day of Ligue 1, the post-match was animated with many speeches, from Leonardo to Kylian Mbappé.

Donnarumma wants to lift the C1 at PSG

Substitute in the last two PSG matches, Gianluigi Donnarumma was also questioned by Sky Sports on a topic that is making the news this season, namely his cohabitation with Keylor Navas in the cages of the Parisian club. “I’m here to start. As I said before, it was a year of acclimatization for me: it was not easy to change language and habits. I have an excellent relationship with Navas but, as he also said, it has not been easy to live this competition. Things absolutely have to change”, dropped the 23-year-old player.

And to ensure that his future is indeed linked to the club of the French capital, with a well-defined objective: “I will stay at PSG and try to win the Champions League”. Under contract until June 2026 with PSG, Gianluigi Donnarumma was recruited free of any contract last summer after leaving AC Milan. The Italian European champion has played 22 matches this season, including 5 in C1 (Navas has played 24, including 3 in C1).

While Navas and Donnarumma have therefore publicly declared that they want the situation to change in the future, they risk being listened to. “The future will certainly be written in different circumstances and it is certain that each of the two aspires to play more. Logically, there will be a different management”, Mauricio Pochettino explained this last Wednesday after PSG’s 3-0 victory in Angers. “Navas knows everything, Gigio too, we have no problem making a decision that will be the best for all concerned. If there is a decision that suits everyone, we will take it”, for his part explained Leonardo on Saturday evening, after the draw against Lens.
