France win the Under-17 Euros against the Netherlands

They were only playing their first international competition, but the Bleuets of the 2005 generation have already marked the history of the French teams. They dominated, in Netanya (Israel), this Wednesday the Euro of under 17 years by overcoming the Netherlands in the final (2-1), a team considered favorite who had beaten them during the group stage ( 1-3).

If they dominated the game, José Alcocer’s players conceded the first goal just after the break. On a center from Vos, coming from the left, the left side Jeanuël Belocian misjudged the trajectory of the ball which arrived on the chest of Slory, who beat the exit of Lisandru Olmeta (48th). But the best attack in the competition (18 goals) quickly reacted with an unexpected savior: the right side Sael Kumbedi.

The Benzema-Nasri and Upamecano-Queen-Adelaide generations have successors

The young man from Le Havre (17), used to going up to the front, managed a magnificent hook on Breinburg before unleashing a splendid shot from the left (58th). And, as happiness never comes alone, Kumbedi offered himself a double two minutes later. In attacking inspired, he was on the fallout of a shot from Mathys Tel repelled by Kuijsten, the Dutch goalkeeper.

The rest will be forever etched in our memories: the French team won the third trophy in its history in this category after 2004 (Benzema generation, Nasri) and 2015 (Upamecano generation, Reine-Adélaïde). The future is golden.
