To receive the latest results, users can subscribe to notifications by clicking the small bell at the top left of the screen while searching for “WC” in the search engine. It will even be possible to follow your favorite team by selecting it in the notification menu. Google will also release daily videos summarizing the day’s matches. For this, the search engine has partnered with FIFA+ and official broadcasters.

Google intends to involve its users through its new features. It will thus be possible to judge a player according to his behaviour. A multiplayer game is also launched. Users will be able to select a team based on the matches taking place in real time, with a simple principle: score as many goals as possible.
While some fan zones has been removed in many cities in France, Google is adding a new label for bars and restaurants that will help users find out which places are showing matches.
YouTube TV subscribers will be able to watch the World Cup on FOX and FS1 with gameplay features like real-time highlights, stats and results. They will also be able to broadcast these matches in ultra-high definition if they have subscribed to the 4K Plus extension. For its part, Google TV will show live matches on the “For You” tab.
