The Google-Samsung relationship has improved a lot in recent years, with the latter often appearing during the former’s keynotes, while there have been joint advertising campaigns. The latest highlights a slew of Google services running on Samsung hardware.

Update 7/7: Google posted the 30-second ad on Instagram (via Android account) today. The song hummed and cast is “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” by the Backstreet Boys.

Original 7/3: It starts with someone at a dinner party using the Google app’s Hum to Search feature to find a song stuck in their head. Once identified by Google search, it is sent to a nearby Samsung TV. After more examples and the “Make it epic” tagline, the video ends with identifying the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy Watch 4 with Google Assistant.

In addition to being online, we saw this Google-Samsung ad play in a cinema before a movie. A lot of the integrations are pretty obvious, but the Hum to Search promo and the all-new Google Assistant on the Galaxy Watch 4 help raise awareness.

In the meantime, there is a website accompanying this campaign: samsung.withgoogle.com.
