Harit, a great missed opportunity!

Olympique de Marseille won 0-1 against Reims in the match of the 34th day of Ligue 1. Here is the note and the appreciation of Amine Harit, holder during this match in Reims.

Olympique de Marseille really had to win their match against Reims at the end of the 35th day of Ligue 1. The Marseilles had to keep the 6-point lead over Monaco and Rennes, and it was not easy. Faced with an ultra-defensive Stade de Reims, with a big low block but also moments of pressing, the team proposed by Jorge Sampaoli lacked rhythm and movement. Apart from a long shot from Milik at the start of the match, the Marseilles got very few chances. The first half is above all a series of bad passes and questionable choices. The Argentinian coach decided to bring in Payet and Gerson in the second half, which brought more technical precision and more movement, a feeling confirmed by the (late) entry into play of very restless Dieng. Gerson was very close to opening the scoring following a cross from the Senegalese international, but the Brazilian finally scored the only goal of the match following a pass from Payet. The former Flamengo joker mystified the defense with a magnificent technical gesture and a strike from the right. A splendid goal and a very important victory.

Aligned on the left but also as a playmaker, Amine Harit missed the opportunity to shine while Gerson and Payet were on the bench…

His appreciation FCM

Harit, a great missed opportunity!
Without Payet or Gerson, the Moroccan midfielder had a great opportunity to show his ability to lead the team’s game alone. Faced with a low and compact block, he, like many of his teammates, struggled to find rhythm and touch his teammates. Harit only played one half, being quite free in his positioning but too clumsy in his choices. Too bad not to show his best level when Payet and Gerson were decisive in the second act.

Media Notes

The Team 3/10 A failed first period where he struggled to make the right choices and position himself, which complicated the task of his teammates, especially on the left.
Maxifoot 3.5/10 Positioned on the left side to breathe Payet, on the bench, the attacking midfielder of Olympique de Marseille has greatly dezoned. But despite this great freedom in his movements, the Moroccan has regularly lacked technical accuracy. In the zone of truth, the player on loan from Schalke 04 did not realize the slightest difference. Replaced in the 45th minute by Dimitri Payet (5.5).
FootMercato 4/10

Man in form for a few weeks with the Marseillais, Amine Harit did not shine in this match. Quite discreet offensively, he tried to provide solutions but did not seem very inspired afterwards.

90mins 4/10

As often, Amine Harit got off to a bad start. Average decision-making and badly felt dribbling. Then, the Moroccan international took control of the game further down. Little influence on the game of OM.

REIMS – OM (0-1): GERSON the saviour! What a CRAZY GOAL!!!!
