Paris Saint-Germain is preparing to formalize its first recruit. “Day V”launches the Portuguese daily Oh Jogo on its front page, the first letter from Vitinha. The Parisian club is close to an agreement with FC Porto. If the latter had agreed on the payment of the release clause of € 40 million from the Portuguese midfielder, a point of contention existed on the terms of payment. But as reported The Team, “Vitinha is at the gates of Paris”. Porto needs cash and would have liked the full amount to be paid. On the side of the capital club, we wanted a payment over three or four years. Finally, the two parties could agree on a settlement in two installments of €20 million. A 5-year contract awaits the 22-year-old in the capital.

And as you can see, it will be €40 million including bonus. The Spanish daily reports that President Joan Laporta personally called the striker to ask him to wait. For its part, the German daily Picture talks about an offer of 40 M€ + 5 M€ bonus. An amount that corresponds to the information of the Mundo Deportivo which also speaks of an offer between 30 M€ and 35 M€. It remains to be seen what Bayern Munich will think of it, which, as we recall, has revised the price of its striker upwards and is asking for no less than €60 million.
Everyone is tearing up Matthijs de Ligt
Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt finds himself at the heart of a top battle between Manchester City and Chelsea. The two clubs are both hoping to sign the Dutchman, but Juventus are asking for €120m to release him, the amount of his release clause. In the event of a possible sale, the Old Lady already has ideas of how to reinvest the money. Zaniolo and Kostic are particularly targeted. And to replace the Dutchman numerically, the defensive rock of Napoli Kalidou Koulibaly is in the sights. Tuttosport, for his part, reports that Bremer is also one of the potential successors to De Ligt. The Brazilian from Torino is also being tracked by Inter, who would like to make him Milan Skriniar’s successor in the event of a departure for PSG.
