Tour de France – The French champion Florian Sénéchal (Quick-Step) replaces Tim Declercq and will be on the Grande Boucle

There will be at least one Frenchman in the Quick-Step team at the start of the next Tour de France in Copenhagen on July 1st. Absent from the initial list of the Belgian formation like Rémi Cavagna and Julian Alaphilippe, Florian Sénéchal was recalled to compensate for the package of Tim Declercq, positive for Covid. The recent French champion will therefore experience his third Grande Boucle, after taking part in the 2015 and 2017 editions.

A 7th Grand Tour for Sénéchal

Participations that he had finished respectively in 135th and 161st place after three weeks.
